All You Can Eat

Trend-setting restaurants, Northwest cookbooks, local food news and the people who make them happen.

August 11, 2008 at 11:49 AM

Pam Sitt has left the building. So sue me. . .

. . .for mentioning yet another Jason Mesnick TV-celebrity-sighting photo-opportunity like these:

Anyway, it turns out you don’t have to work in (or own) a restaurant to hang out with TV celebs, you can buy your way into that claim to fame. But you’ve only got till 5 p.m. this evening to do so, and you can do it by calling Waterfront Seafood Grill at 206-956-9171 to purchase your ticket to their lift-one-with-the-bach event, a fundraiser for Jason’s hometown kids at the Kirkland Boys & Girls Club.

Here’s the info, quoted straight from the press release:

“Please join us Thursday, August 14th for an unforgettable summertime evening — and an ultra exclusive Girls’ Night Out. Delight in the company of Jason Mesnick of The Bachelorette and the hosts from Chat with Women, Pam and Rochelle. With sweeping views from Mount Rainier to the Olympics, Waterfront’s patio is the perfect venue for this once in a lifetime event. Cocktails and appetizers will be provided, alongside DJ Benny, producer of Chat with Women, who will keep the music spinning.

When: Thursday, August 14, 2008, 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM.

Location: The Waterfront Seafood Grill, 2801 Alaskan Way, Seattle WA 98121

Tickets: $85 per person. Includes 3 drinks, heavy appetizers and one raffle ticket. Raffle drawing at 8:20.”

But wait! There’s more! Call Waterfront by noon and the nice folks from Mackay Restaurants will also give you a Ginzu knife!

And now, back to my regularly scheduled programming, in which I answer queries like, “Hey! Wasn’t that Rachael Ray?” and surf the net in search of juicy gossip regarding what’s-his-name, courtesy of that little looker Pam Sitt. Who, go figure, gave up the glam life as the Seattle Times “Girl About Town” to watch television.
