Blackbird Flies

After three years, West Seattle’s Blackbird Bistro is closing, and is doing so with class.

Owners Eric Cozens and Peter Morse are seeking jobs for their employees (contact them at blackbirdbistro@gmail.com with leads or for resumes/references) and honoring Blackbird gift cards at their other space, Mission Latin Restaurant and Lounge (email them the 19-digit code on the back of the card with your name and address and they’ll replace it). They want to thank customers and employees, past and present, as they close one door and concentrate on expanding Mission.

“With mixed emotions we are announcing that Blackbird Bistro has been sold, and the last day of operation will be this Friday, Sept. 19.” they announced today. “We are excited for the new (currently confidential) concept to step in with fresh legs and take the space and the neighborhood to the next level.”
