Summertime (fingers crossed) and I’m off to enjoy it

As I write, the sun is shining over Puget Sound and I’m outta here, with plans to spend time with my family, my friends, and maybe (if I don’t end up in a boot-cast, like I did the last time I braved the backyard wilds) I’ll even get around to doing something about those weed-boxes formerly known as my garden beds.

Yo, Nance: Be careful! It’s a jungle out there.

The plan: lots of cooking, lots of reading, perhaps some weeding and no blogging — until I return at the end of the month. That said, I’ll stay in touch in 140-characters-or less via my Twitter account — whose feed you’ll find right here on this post. Pray for sun! I am.
