Hip-hop to it: Seattle rapper gets cookin’

Andrew Matson covers music for the Seattle Times on his blog, Matson on Music, but he’s also a man who likes his food. I know this, because back when his desk was next to mine, he was always my first line of defense when I had some leftover Szechuan eggplant or an extra banh mi I needed to off-load (it happens more often than you think), and because he’s ever-willing to pick up a fork in the name of news.

That said, as much as my hungry colleague has an appetite for my beat, I tend to stay away from his because, well, you know me and music: stuck in the ’70s, right? That said, allow me to turn your attention to Andrew’s latest blog-post (click here): my introduction to The Thuggin’ Chef — aka Seattle rapper DT, a guy who, like me, knows how to pan-fry chicken.
