Adios! — for now

Hey, I’ve headed out of town to pay a solo visit to Chicago. If it were monkey business instead of family business you might soon be reading dispatches from Alinea (don’t I wish). Trust me: it’s not that kind of trip, and I’m thinking I might even lose a couple pounds on my journey given what awaits me there. But in the unlikely event I find time to go out for a meal in the Windy City — fancy-pants or otherwise — ideas are welcome, so bring it on. Meanwhile, I’ll “see” you when I see you. Which, hopefully, will be by early next week if not sooner.

They call it a Chicago “Red Hot.” What’s with the cucumber and tomatoes, among other oddities? (You’ll forgive me Nathan: I married into it.)
