Enough about bread and butter, now back to chocolate

It’s been a busy week, what with umpteen Eaters (and a few caustic grumpsters) weighing in on the issue of charging for bread service, a topic far more quietly revisited today in Providence Cicero’s Seattle Times review of The Walrus and the Carpenter.

Speaking of weighty issues, I’ve been occupied with writing a couple of print-page stories this week, and heading out-and-about to treat myself to chocolate treats, including but not limited to the pair below — which represent the dark and the light of it. Stay tuned for more on that subject.

By the way: you may be way over tiramisu, but I (unfortunately) am not. Which is why I intend to whip up a batch for a Sunday night dinner-party. Have a good weekend all, and we’ll talk more soon.
