Park(ing) Day

A little park (six parking stalls in size, to be exact) will sprout on University Street between First and Second avenues today. It’s Seattle Art Museum‘s contribution to International Park(ing) Day, during which artists and other creative folks around the globe turn parking spaces into temporary green spaces. SAM’s little green space includes art-making activities, music and games. Park yourself there between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. today.
