Tiny art show: Photographer Victoria Bjorklund

This Friday, we undertake a weekly feature on the ArtsPage blog called “Tiny Art Show.” It goes like this: Local galleries/museums send images from current exhibitions to us, and we post one we like. No explanation, no apologies. You, readers, get to enjoy a bit of beauty and/or provocation to move you into the weekend.

Today we have Victoria Bjorklund’s “Blue Midnight,” from the Sammamish City Hall Commons Gallery, to start us off.

Once and current Tacomans (my people!) will recognize this as Tacoma’s Rialto Theatre. Victoria Bjorklund’s show, “Urban Poetics,” runs at the gallery through Oct. 4.

Galleries/museums: Send your images with credit info to mdavis@seattletimes.com and ljacobson@seattletimes.com. See you next week.
