Tiny Art Show: ‘Neon Vancouver’

Here at ArtsPage, we like the big city, but sometimes we feel it lacks enough bright lights. Especially the buzzy neon kind of lights. So for today’s Tiny Art Show, we offer a classic sign from our neighbor to the north, Vancouver, B.C. The cheerful “smiling Buddha” sign is part of a show at Museum of Vancouver, called “Neon Vancouver/Ugly Vancouver,” which examines the rise and fall of neon in the city. The exhibition begins Oct. 13.
