Dale and Leslie Chihuly offered press a look at their new exhibition-space-in-progress at Seattle Center today. It’s actually three spaces: A nine-room gallery fitted into the shell of the old Fun Forest; a glass house with 40-plus-foot ceilings; and an outdoor garden where plants and installations will intermingle.
The photo at right gives you a look inside, though you can’t see much except for framing where the gallery walls will be.
Update: Fellow editor Melissa Davis just returned to the office after an extended tour of the Chihuly studio, with these images of glassworks that will be displayed inside the glass house:
