Public-radio smackdown: McLean vs. Keillor

mclean.jpg

Over the years, we here on the arts desk at The Seattle Times have been a little surprised to discover how polarizing two of public radio’s most familiar voices are. Stuart McLean (“The Vinyl Cafe”) and Garrison Keillor (“A Prairie Home Companion”) — apparently, you either love them or you hate them.

Today we have an interview with Stuart McLean in the paper, advancing his appearance at the Paramount Theatre. This is a perfect opportunity for us to ascertain once and for all: Who annoys you the most? Take our poll.

Which of these two radio personalities would you least rather spend eternity with on a desert island?
