It’s almost New Year’s Eve! So many choices of things to do, so little time before the hourglass runs out of sand in 2011.
Here’s some help choosing your year-end fun, from writers at The Seattle Times:
–Families may want to peruse this list, of everything from fireworks to global countdowns, happening on Saturday.
–Party animals, look to this roundup of happenings at the clubs.
–Like some quiet? A new documentary is out this weekend, “Summer Pasture,” about a nomadic family in Eastern Tibet. Times writer John Hartl gives it three stars.
–Perhaps some molar-rattling classical music is more your style. Seattle Symphony (with Gerard Schwarz) rings in 2012 with its annual robust Beethoven’s Ninth performance, while on the Eastside, Seattle Choral Company puts on Orff’s stirring “Carmina Burana.”
