It’s Mozart month

The more you read about Mozart, the more you feel like a slacker. A composer from the age of 5, he managed to write more than 600 pieces of music during his too-short life. So it’s only fitting that we celebrate his 256th birthday during his entire birth month — January.

KING FM 98.1 will play at least one piece by Mozart every hour, 24 hours a day, through Jan. 31. A highlight: you can hear all the Mozart symphonies in order, one per hour, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Jan. 10-14.

On Jan. 27, toast Wolfgang at a Town Hall party (Chocolates!) that will include performances of Adagio in B Minor for Piano, K. 540 and Piano Quartet in G Minor, K. 478 (played in the video below by students of the Colburn School).
