Blockbuster Leonardo exhibition on the big screen on Feb. 16

“Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan,” one of the most-visited exhibitions ever mounted at London’s National Gallery, can now be seen from the comfort of your local movie theater on Feb. 16. (Although sore feet in London are pretty easy to bear, aren’t they?) The HD film “Leonardo Live” is a virtual walk-through of the show, with commentary from scholars and curators. Of special note: the filmmakers included the exhibition’s two versions of da Vinci’s beloved “Virgin of the Rocks” — one loaned from the Louvre — that had never been seen together. Showtime at all theaters is 7 p.m. Thursday; for a complete list of local theaters showing “Leonardo Live,” go here.
