Bellevue Jazz Festival headliners announced

Hubert Laws, the versatile flute player best known for ’70s pop/jazz albums such as “Wild Flower” and “Morning Star,” headlines this year’s Bellevue Jazz Festival. Other national artists on the bill include the Clayton Brothers (below) — bassist John, his brother Jeff (alto saxophone) and his son Gerald (piano) — and Hammond B-3 organ ace Booker T. The festival opens May 30 and runs through June 3. Headline acts perform May 31-June 2 at the Theatre at Meydenbauer Center.

Tickets go on sale in April at Brown Paper Tickets
