In remembrance of Teresa Healy

Seattle Times theater critic Misha Berson shares this:

The local arts community was saddened this week to learn that Teresa (“Terry”) Healy, a veteran Seattle artist and administrator, died on March 17, at age 65. After earning a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Washington, she went on to work in politics (as an aide to Mayor Charles Royer), but mainly as a publicist and grant writer for such arts organizations as Bathhouse Theatre, Kirkland Performing Arts Center, Empty Space Theatre and the Ethnic Heritage Council of the Pacific Northwest.

A vivacious woman of many interests, Healy opened and ran the Green Room Cafe in Wallingford in the 1990s (it has since closed), showed her paintings in local galleries, and was an expert Scrabble player and developer of crossword puzzles.
