Reason #1: Tacoma Art Museum will be open until 8 p.m. every Thursday through June 7.
#2: While there, you can can take in the only West Coast stop of the exhibit “Hide/Seek: Difference and Desire in American Portraiture,” which originated at the Smithsonian Institution and has been named Best Thematic Museum Show Nationally by the U.S. Art Critics Association.
#3: The museum has scheduled special events for each of the Thursday nights, including an appearance by Dina Martina on April 26; a talk about “The Women of HIDE/SEEK” on May 10; and free admission 5-8 p.m. on May 17 and 24. (More here.)
