2012 ZooTunes and Chateau Ste. Michelle concerts announced

When it rains, it pours. And when it’s sunny … our email is flooded with outdoor-concert series announcements.

Yesterday, Chateau Ste. Michelle released its 2012 summer concert lineup. (See it here.)

And today, ZooTunes followed suit, with a series that’s likewise long on the usual suspects — k.d. lang, Steve Earle, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Pink Martini and headliner Melissa Etheridge (pictured), among others. (Find the full list below.)

Tickets range in price from $22 to $39.50. They go on sale to members Wednesday (look for a message in your email, members) and to the general public at 8 a.m. Friday, April 27, at www.zoo.org/zootunes.

Aug. 15 & 16: An Evening With Pink Martini ($34)

Aug. 22: Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue / Robert Randolph & the Family Band ($26)

Aug. 29: Rosanne Cash / Madeleine Peyroux ($26)

All concerts take place on the North Meadow of Woodland Park Zoo in North Seattle.
