This just in from NW Traveler editor Kristin Jackson:
Tickets for the very popular summer concerts at Seattle’s Woodland Park Zoo went on sale Friday at 8 a.m. But some would-be ticket buyers, including me, were singing a sad song as the zoo’s website was overwhelmed for the first part of the morning. It took me an hour-and-a-half to get online to buy tickets to the concerts, which usually sell out fast.
The zoo now has fixed the problem with a direct link to the interactive ticketing site at www.zoo.org.
You can also go to Woodland Park Zoo’s Facebook page where there’s a link to the ticketing site.
Or do it the old-fashioned way and buy tickets in person at zoo entrances. A limited number of tickets are available during zoo operating hours, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
