Short notice: Free lecture at Kirkland Arts Center

Since 2010, artist/photographer Eduardo Calderon has been making photos of visual artists working in the Northwest and recording interviews with them. At 7 p.m. Thursday at Kirkland Arts Center, he’ll give a free talk about the project and how it’s going, and show the 20 portraits he’s done. Calderon chose artists “whose work has contributed to the cultural history of the region.” The portraits, interviews and samples of each artist’s work will be exhibited in January 2013 at the Museum of Northwest Art in La Conner.
