Folklife and Mozart? You bet

The annual Folklife fest at Seattle Center offers all sorts of music…even Mozart. In fact, sing-a-long Mozart. At 5 p.m. on Memorial Day, Seattle Peace Chorus will lead the fifth annual Mozart’s Requiem sing-a-long at the Intiman Courtyard Stage. Scores are provided, but they go fast; if you have one of your own, the chorus urges you to bring it. You can’t sing this beautiful piece without acompaniment, and these musicians will play at the sing-a-long: violinists Trevor Lutzenhiser and Alina To; bassoonist Francine Peterson; cellist Karen Fardal; basset horn Mary Kanto and violist Jennifer Glenn.
