Attention, Seattle Symphony patrons who are attending concerts on June 7, 9 and 10: violinist Leonidas Kavakos has withdrawn from the concerts due to illness, the symphony has announced. But strings will still be in the spotlight, and in good hands: stepping in is the orchestra’s principal second violin, Elisa Barston, who will perform Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 1.
