Seattle mystery writer Mike Lawson on Well Read

Seattle author Mike Lawson writes funny, sharp thrillers featuring Joe DeMarco, an investigator/fixer who works for a thoroughly corrupt U.S. Speaker of the House. The latest, “House Blood,” features an interesting villain – a rogue pharmaceutical company that uses a nonprofit relief agency as a cover for testing dangerous drugs in Third World countries.

You can watch Lawson explain how he does it tonight on “Well Read,” the books and authors program on state public access television channel TVW. It airs at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. – archived programs are at www.tvw.org/shows/well-read
