Bumbershoot announces film lineup

Bumbershoot, which takes place September 1-3 at Seattle Center, has announced its film lineup, which celebrates “cinematic brevity” with screenings of more than 100 shorts. Films will be shown at SIFF Cinema at Seattle Center. The program begins with a sneak preview at 8 p.m. Aug. 31.

Saturday highlights include a Films4Families program (12 noon), dance films (1 p.m.), comedy (2 p.m.), Best of SIFF 2012 (3:30 p.m.), Best of SIFF Audience Award Winners (4:30 p.m.), Nerds Unite (5:30 p.m.), Strange Love (7 p.m.) and Films4Adults (8 p.m.).

Sunday starts again with Films4Families (12 noon), followed by Face the Music (1 p.m.), Art Atypical (2 p.m.), Best of SIFF (3:30 p.m.), Best of SIFF Audience Award Winners (4:30 p.m.), SIFF Fly Films (5:30 p.m.), Strange Love (7 p.m.) and Films4Adults (8 p.m.)

Monday begins with Films4Families (12 noon), followed by Extreme Athleticism (1 p.m.), Face the Music ( 2 p.m.), Best of SIFF (3:30 p.m.), Best of SIFF Audience Award Winners (4:30), Unexpected (5:30 p.m.), Strange Love (7 p.m.) and Films4Adults (8 p.m.)
