Single tickets go on sale at Pacific Northwest Ballet

Single tickets for Pacific Northwest Ballet’s 40th anniversary season go on sale today, with a nice deal: no service fee on tickets purchased before August 10. The two hottest tickets of the season will surely be the Mark Morris world premiere ballet (debuting in November, on a bill with three other world premieres from PNB dancer/choreographers), and a world premiere work from Christopher Wheeldon, which will close out the season in late May/early June (along with two classic Balanchine ballets: “Agon” and “Diamonds”). Also in the season are three story ballets — “Cinderella,” “Romeo et Juliette,” and “Swan Lake” — and an evening of “Modern Masterpieces,” which will include favorites by Balanchine, Twyla Tharp and Ulysses Dove.

Tickets, which range in cost from $28 to $173, can be purchased through the PNB box office at 301 Mercer St or 206-441-2424 (Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), or online at www.pnb.org.
