Novelist Jess Walter plumbs Hollywood’s dark heart

Spokane resident Jess Walter is one of Washington’s most acclaimed authors. He was a National Book Award finalist for his novel “The Zero,” and a winner of the Edgar award for best mystery novel for “Citizen Vince.” He writes literary novels. He writes mysteries!! The guy can write – period.

Tonight Terry Tazioli interviews Walter on “Well Read,” the books and authors show on state public access channel TVW. They discuss Walter’s 2012 novel “Beautiful Ruins,”a blazing satire of contemporary Hollywood, a story of true love and an elegy for a sleepy little Italian town. It airs at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Or you can view it here:
