Monday fun: a political cartooning duel

Political cartoonists David Horsey (formerly of the Seattle P-I, now drawing for the Los Angeles Times) and Milt Priggee (formerly of The Spokesman-Review in Spokane) will bring their quick-draw skills to Naked City Brewery on Monday night, in the latest installment in Humanities Washington’s Think & Drink series. With KUOW radio host Steve Scher as moderator, the pair will interpret “current electoral issues based on suggestions from the audience,” according to organizers.

“Inkslingers” begins at 7 p.m. today (Nov. 5) at Naked City Brewery and Taphouse, 8564 Greenwood Ave. N., Seattle, and it’s free. The Think & Drink series, which hosts conversations on provocative topics, often attracts quite a few patrons; organizers advise those attending to show up early to stake out a good place.
