Two of the big Northwest festivals that bookend the summer are offering discounted passes today online.
Sasquatch! Music Festival, which is slated for Memorial Day weekend at the Gorge (May 24-27), is offering four-day passes for $300. The lineup has not yet been announced, so passes must be purchased blind. But the same held true last year, and organizers had no trouble finding buyers anyway. The entire four-day festival sold out in 2012 within four days of individual tickets going on sale in February.
Bumbershoot, meanwhile, is offering a three-day pass online for $100.50 including fees. If you use the promo code NOFEESALE, you can also save $10.50 on fees, bringing the cost down to $90. That’s $30 a day, which some will still consider too expensive (keep your eyes on the comments thread), but it’s way cheaper than buying at the gate. (Last year, if you waited till the last minute and bought a one-day ticket at the gate, it set you back $55.) The music-and-arts festival takes place Aug. 31 to Sept. 2 at Seattle Center.
