5 easy ways to enjoy art this weekend

Art is busting out all over the Seattle area this weekend — and most of the ways to take part are easy on the wallet. For instance: First Fridays are free at Bellevue Arts Museum (11 a.m.-8 p.m.); or you could take in a lecture (most are free or low-cost) on Friday at Photo Center NW, the Frye Museum or the Henry Art Gallery.

And there are 5 art walks to choose from:

FRIDAY

–Greenwood-Phinney Art Walk: 6-9 p.m., Phinney Avenue North and Greenwood Avenue North between North 60th and 87th streets.

–Kirkland Art Walk: 6 p.m. Live music, artists’ demonstrations and more. Downtown Kirkland.

SATURDAY

–Ballard Art Walk: 6-9 p.m.  Market Street and Ballard Avenue.

–Central District Art Walk: 6-9 p.m. 23rd Avenue and East Cherry Street.

–Georgetown Art Attack: 6 p.m. Open studios, galleries and live music. Historic business district, 5000 block of Airport Way South.
