Seattle Shakespeare Co. goes Wilde

Along with three plays by William Shakespeare, the 2013-14 season at Seattle Shakespeare Company will offer a production of the classic Oscar Wilde comedy, “The Importance of Being Earnest.”

The lineup for the company’s next indoor season:

–“Much Ado About Nothing” directed by SSC artistic head George Mount. (Oct. 23-Nov. 17 at the Center Theatre, Seattle Center.)

–“Richard II” directed by Rosa Joshi.  (Jan. 8-Feb. 2, 2014 at Center Theatre)

–“The Importance of Being Earnest” directed by Victor Pappas. (March 19-April 13, 2014 at Center Theatre)

–“King Lear” directed by Sheila Daniels (April 24-May 11, 2014 at Intiman Playhouse)

Season subscription packages, $72-$152, are now available. Single tickets will go on sale in September.
