Seattle International Film Festival will open May 16 with a gala screening of “Much Ado About Nothing.” Directed by Joss Whedon — who brought you last summer’s breakout hit, “The Avengers” — the movie drops Shakespeare’s comedy into a contemporary setting. Whedon, along with stars Alexis Denisof, Amy Acker, Nathan Fillion and Clark Gregg, will attend the opening-night screening.
Here’s a trailer. Tickets for the gala are on sale now. For more info, go to the SIFF website.
