Think of it as suds and sopranos: Opera on Tap Seattle, which aims to bring great operatic works to nontraditional spaces, will drop by The Comet Tavern on Capitol Hill at 6 p.m. Sunday (April 14). The program’s theme is “My First Time,” and will feature “new-to-us arias as well as our first arias,” according to OOT’s managing divas. Expect works from Mozart, Puccini, Handel and Bellini. Singers include Julia Benzinger, Matt Richardson, Erica Row, Serena Edljee, Megan Chenovick and Ksenia Popova. Seattle Opera chorusmaster Beth Kirchhoff will be the accompanist. Admission: $5.
