Seattle skyline and a camel: Macklemore releases new video for “Can’t Hold Us”

Seattle’s own Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are following up the chart-topping success of “Thrift Shop” with a new video for the song “Can’t Hold Us.” There are desert scenes and pirate ships, but make sure to watch all the way to the end for amazing Space Needle shots.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll is a big fan. A clip of the song was played last season at Century Link whenever the Seahawks scored a touchdown. He tweeted about the new video Wednesday morning:

What do you think of the new video? Do you recognize any other locations other than downtown Seattle?

A scene with the band atop a roof with the skyline behind them may have been filmed at the building that houses Zeitgeist Coffee, at 171 S. Jackson St. near Pioneer Square. This KING-5 post in March talked about the “super secret” filming location.

(This is a corrected version of the post. The previous version failed to acknowledge that “Can’t Hold Us” was already being played at Seahawks home games.)
