Seattle Arts & Lectures has announced its 2013-2014 season. Highlights include author Malcolm Gladwell (October 11), “Gone Girl” author Gillian Flynn (April 17) and graphic artists Chip Kidd and Chris Ware (Feb. 19).

The upcoming season’s events will see some changes – the Literary Arts series will take place at Town Hall Seattle, and the Poetry Series will take place at ACT Theatre and Town Hall. Both series were formerly held at Benaroya Hall.  The number of events in both series has been reduced, from 8 to 6 in the Literary Arts series and from 7 to 6 in the Poetry series.

For more information, see SAL’s web site. Some participants, including author George Saunders and poet Anne Carson, have agreed to appear, but haven’t been scheduled for specific dates yet.
