Which Washington state author sells the most books? Not who you might think. In fact, the reigning queen of the best-seller lists is Port Orchard’s Debbie Macomber. Macomber’s fans, millions strong, eagerly await her romances, many of which are located in the town of Cedar Cove, which bears a not coincidental resemblance to Port Orchard itself.
Macomber talks about her writing – how she started, how she maintains her self-discipline – tonight on “Well Read,” the books and authors interview program on state public affairs network TVW. It airs and 7 and 10 p.m. tonight on TVW (in Seattle, Comcast channel 23). Her latest book is “Starry Night,” an Alaska-based story with a Christmas theme. If you can’t catch it on TV, you can watch it here.
