Artists chosen for BAM Biennial 2014

“Knock on Wood” is the theme for Bellevue Arts Museum’s third biennial (opening Oct. 31), and the museum has announced the artists chosen to provide “an important survey of the one of the most versatile media in the fields of art, craft and design.” John Grade — he of the giant, biodegradable installations — is on the list, as is Ed Wicklander, June Sekiguchi, Kimberly Trowbridge and David French. Pretty stellar lineup.

During “Knock on Wood,” two cash prizes of $5,000 will be awarded, as well as the opportunity for one artist to have a solo exhibition at BAM.
