A way to keep up with Seattle theaters, concert halls, galleries, museums and other fine-arts events.

SLU has arrived — it has an art walk

The bustling South Lake Union ‘hood is really all grown up; along with a Tom Douglas food complex, a Goodwill and a Tesla “service facility,” it is now home to an art walk (just like downtown Seattle, Phinney, Columbia City, Ballard, all those places).

Works by eight Seattle and Portland artists are now in storefronts on the stretch between Terry and Boren, bordered by Republican and John. (The artists:  Natasha Bacca, Evan Blackwell, Jacob Foran, Alison Foshee, Sarah Jones, Paul Kuniholm Pauper, Kathleen Skeels, and Cheryl Zahniser.) Want to see them all and have fun in the process? Join Shunkpike’s Storefronts Art Walk, the evening of Friday, May 2.
