Patricia Cameron takes art biz online

Another gallery takes leave of the Seattle cityscape: Patricia Cameron Gallery, in the exploding South Lake Union neighborhood, will vacate its brick-and-mortar presence on Dexter Avenue North on May 31.

“Going forward, we will continue operating as an online gallery with selected artists in all media, and as an art consulting team to architects, designers, developers and private individuals,” Cameron stated in a short news release sent Thursday afternoon. Cameron put down roots with a gallery in Pioneer Square in 1998, and curated shows at the Alexis Hotel from 2001-2004. In June 2005, she relocated to the Dexter space.

Gallery artists include Amanda Coleman, Mary Mitsuda, Ileana Vasquez and Tad Crawford.
