Seattle Mayor Ed Murray announced the recipients of the annual Mayor’s Arts Awards, selected from a record 650 nominations from the public. NEA awards $653,000 to Seattle arts groups

The National Endowment for the Arts announced 24 grants to Seattle-area groups this week, totaling $653,000. Thirty grants were awarded statewide in this round of funding.
