Cornish announces 2014 Neddy winners

From Seattle Times arts writer Michael Upchurch: Painter Susanna Bluhm and multimedia artist Maikoiyo Alley-Barnes have won the 2014 Neddy at Cornish Award, Cornish College of the Arts has announced. Hear ‘From the Top’ from Cornish

Listeners of the Saturday, June 21, broadcast of NPR’s classical-music program “From the Top” will hear not only the show’s host, Christopher O’Riley, and other fixtures, but two young Seattle-area musicians as well: Violinist Felicity James, 17, of Seattle, and cellist Audrey Chen, 17, of Redmond. Seattle acting couple hurt; friends seeking help

From Misha Berson, Seattle Times theater critic: Local actors Zach and Ashley Adair were injured Saturday while crossing a Seattle street, friends and colleagues report.
