Report: Jason Goldberg’s now backed by Washington Post

The former Jobster chief executive has left Seattle and started a social news site called socialmedian.

Silicon Alley Insider reported today that the Washington Post Newsweek Interactive Group is backing Jason Goldberg’s project; it said the team so far includes Goldberg and a crew in Pune, India.

Maybe Goldberg drew on some of his old D.C. connections — he worked in the Clinton White House from 1993 to 1998, as an aide to Erskine Bowles.
