Google says Americans now searching for “exit polls 2008”

The top 10 recent searches on the Google Trends page, which was called out on the company’s blog this morning:

Google Trends top 10 as of about noon today:

1. exit polls 2008

2. black panthers

3. election results 2008

4. irina shayk

5. early voting exit polls

6. voting results

7. election update

8. who s winning the election

9. poll results

10. election polls

Black Panthers? Is there some last minute scare tactic that people are fact-checking?

I didn’t know who Irina Shayk was until I jeopardized my job security with a search that returned some racy swimsuit pics. Apparently Americans still have other things on their mind besides politics.
