Movaya resurfaces, with Hooters iPhone app

Seattle mobile game and commerce startup Movaya is resurfacing today, with an iPhone application it developed for Clearwater, Fla.-based Hooters Calendar.

The $1.99 slider game – you slide tiles into place to assemble a photo – has 60 levels and takes advantage of the iPhone capabilities “by utilizing the touch screen and accelerometer to move and shake the puzzle pieces,” the release said.

Founder Phil Yerkes said Movaya’s still focused on its core business of mobile commerce services for merchants and content developers, but it has branched out and now also does third-party app development for the iPhone, Android and RIM platforms.
