“Battlestar Galactica” composer scoring Airtight’s “Dark Void”

Capcom announced today that Bear McCreary — the composer known for his work on “Battlestar Galactica” — will create the score for “Dark Void”, the triple A game coming this summer from Redmond’s Airtight Games.

It’s the first time McCreary has created music for a video game.

“I have been looking for the opportunity to compose a game score for a long time, but I’ve been waiting for the right one,” McCreary said in the release. ” ‘Dark Void’s’ epic story and unique gameplay drew me in immediately and I have had a lot of fun working on the project.”
