Microsoft Windows 7 selling seven copies per second

Factoid of the day: Microsoft’s selling seven copies of Windows 7 every second.

That came in a Windows team blog post announcing that Microsoft has sold 150 million Windows 7 licenses since it launched last fall, maintaining its position as the fastest-selling operating system in history.

Microsoft stock was flat at $25.31 in extended trading, after the company disclosed that its flagship product moves at 25,200 copies per hour.
