Seattle’s Big Fish Games is releasing what it calls the first peer-to-peer multiplayer game app for the iPhone and iPad with voice chat.
“Big City Adventure: San Francisco” lets players chat with each other as they scour the game looking for hidden objects, collecting post cards and playing mini-games like jigsaw puzzles and memory challenges.
The game “turns mobile gaming into a social experience” using the devices’ wireless networks, Patrick Wylie, vice president of Big Fish Games Studios, said in a release. It costs $4.99 for an iPhone version and $6.99 for a higher resolution iPad version.
So now you’ll know what’s going on if you hear your mother or grandmother shouting, “Where’s the trolley? I can’t see the trolley!,” in the other room.
