Xbox founder Berkes to HBO

Otto Berkes, the last of the four original Xbox founders to leave Microsoft, is going to HBO where he’ll be the senior vice president of consumer technology.

Berkes will work on products such as HBO’s online streaming services, the company said.

“We are very fortunate to have one of the visionary leaders in consumer technology on board to help us build upon HBO’s latest digital offering,” HBO chief technology officer, Bob Zitter, said in the release.

Berkes resigned from Microsoft on May 24
