Verizon Wireless today said that it has extended its 4G LTE coverage to the northwestern edge of the Lower 48, where it has brought the service to Port Angeles, Port Townsend and Sequim.
The cities are among 470 markets that now have Verizon LTE service. Also announced today is new LTE service in the Tri-Cities and Klamath Falls areas.
Other carriers are moving toward LTE but haven’t extended the service as far as Verizon, which is driving the point home by touting its two-year anniversary of LTE service this month.
Here’s a look at the Peninsula’s coverage map. There’s no word yet on LTE coverage in the Forks and Neah Bay markets.
