Seattle’s AdReady sold to CPXi
Seattle display ad services company AdReady was acquired by New York-based CPXi, the companies announced today.
Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
All 21 of AdReady’s employees will be retained and CPXi plans to expand the office in early 2014. AdReady co-founder Aaron Finn is new general manager of the AdReady division of CPXi, a digital media holding company.
“AdReady is the only company to combine the efficiency and hyper targeting capabilities of programmatic with compelling, scalable creative,” CPXi Chief Executive Michael Seiman said in a release. “This acquisition is an important addition to the demand side of our offerings, with the bonus of adding a roster of industry veterans and new talent to the CPXi team.”
Finn launched AdReady in 2006 after leaving Classmates.com. AdReady now has more than 8,000 customers — including Alaska Airlines, ESPN and Yahoo – that have used its offerings to run more than 500,000 ads.
