If you’ve noticed more traffic than usual on Interstate 5 between Seattle and Portland, it may be all the Seattle search marketers heading south to buy companies in the Rose City.
The latest deal is being announced today by Seattle’s Add3, which bought Portland marketing agency Amplify Interactive.
“This is a significant step for Add3, as there’s tremendous value to having a physical presence in a dynamic market like Portland and because this move brings some exceptional new talent and search expertise to Add3,” Chief Executive Paul Uhlir said in a release.
Add3 — which does search-engine marketing and optimization and online display advertising — also recently moved into new offices on Capitol Hill with room to double its employment here. The company now has 25 employees in Seattle and 5 in Portland who came with Amplify.
Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
